One...Day...At...A...Time

This is just a little glimpse of what my mornings have consisted of over the past six months.  Now here I am.  Six days to go to White Rock!  I'm so nervous, but I'm ready.  I'm ready to make good on my goal.

"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

You are such a trooper, Rhonda. I envy your dedication. And hopefully once the race is over, you'll be able to sleep in??

You are so diesel! The weather in Dally has been crazy unpredictable...up and down. You seemed prepared for anything though. I hope you have a little Taser on that Garmin for protection when you go running in the darkness. Not that any would-be-attacker could catch you anyway. I wish you the best on Sunday!

ps. If you have a moment, please stop by and leave a comment on my blog post entry for a Thanksgiving photo contest:

6.9 miles in an hour...I'm impressed! Very embarrassed of the short distance I can get in an hour.
