In the final days leading up to the marathon, I'm reflecting on the past six months and realizing that running is so much more than qualifying for Boston. It gives me purpose and meaning. I'm extremely emotional today and this video shows the passionate side of me and how running affects my life.

All good tears Rhonda! It's kind of funny how super aware we are of our bodies and the slightest little twitch or tightness gets our attention immediately and that little feeling of "oh no" and dread cross our mind. So check your shoelaces before crossing the start line :)
You've touched on exactly what I have been feeling the past few days. I didn't fully and truly realize the impact of running on my life until I wasn't able. It brings me so much joy, energy, and confidence. It just feels good. And nothing compares to a good run for stress relief and I've been unable to find a comparable alternative. I still strength train and swim but it just isn't the same.
Oh, best of luck to you my friend!! So much emotion goes into the preparation for this race, and you've done it and will ROCK IT!!
Go get 'em!
I know you're going to rock that marathon!!!
That was so touching! I can't wait to hear how today went. I know you rocked the White Rock Marathon!
